Frebruary 2022: A thermodynamic database named CSLBMEB-G.db (beta version) for ISLEC v4.2.3 has been developed for internal testing. With this database, ISLEC can model the phase equilibria in the system (Li+, Na+, K+, Rb+, Cs+, NH4+, Mg2+, Ca2+, Sr2+ // Cl–H3BO3-H2O) from a temperature range from 200 K to 373 K. Total 36 solid phases are included in the database. Please have a try with ISLEC-Web-CSLBMEB. Any suggestion and bug report can be send to ddong_li@hotmail.com.

July 2021: A thermodynamic database named CSLBME-G.db (beta version) for ISLEC v4.2.3 has been developed for internal testing. With this database, ISLEC can model the phase equilibria in the system (Li+, Na+, K+, Rb+, Cs+, NH4+, Mg2+, Ca2+, Sr2+ // Cl–H2O) from a temperature range from 200 K to 373 K. Total 33 solid phases and selective 7 solid solution phases are included in the database. Please have a try with ISLEC-Web-CSLBME. Any suggestion and bug report can be send to ddong_li@hotmail.com.

April 2020: A thermodynamic database named CSLBM-G.db for ISLEC v4.2.3 has been developed coupling with our paper “Phase diagrams and thermochemical modeling of salt lake brine systems. IV. Thermodynamic framework and software implementation for multi-component systems” submitted to the CALPHAD Journal. With this database, ISLEC can model the phase equilibria in the system (Li+, Na+, K+, Mg2+, Ca2+ // Cl-H2O) from a temperature range from 200 K to 373 K. April 2020: A thermodynamic database for the Ca2+ // Cl, ClO4 – H2O system has been developed recently. The model can be used for simulating the phase equilibrium behavior in calcium, chloride and perchlorate system with implication for constraining the fractionation of ClO4 and the ratio of ClO4/Cl. This database was given a name of CaClO4Cl-G.db, in which all the standard thermodynamic parameters and ion-interaction parameters are included. This database is compatible with ISLEC version 4.2. The model can be used for simulating the phase equilibrium behavior in magnesium, chloride and perchlorate system with implication for constraining the fractionation of ClO4 and the ratio of ClO4/Cl. This database was given a name of MgClO4Cl-G.db, in which all the standard thermodynamic parameters and ion-interaction parameters are included. This database is compatible with ISLEC version 4.2. The model can be used for simulating the phase equilibrium behavior of magnesium, hydroxide and sulfate system with implication for magnesium oxsulfate (MOS) cement material preparation. This database was given a name of MOS-G.db, in which all the standard thermodynamic parameters and ion-interaction parameters are included. This database is compatible with ISLEC version 4.2. March 2017: A thermodynamic model for the Na, K, Rb, Mg // Cl – H2O system has been developed. The model can be used for simulating the aqueous geochemical behavior of Rb in chloride type brine. The corresponded database is given a name of RbRecycle-G.db, in which all the standard thermodynamic parameters and ion-interaction parameters are included. September 2016: Brine freezing and brine/mineral metamorphism processes simulation function have been implemented for the ISLEC-Web. Some bugs have been removed (e.g. zero or negetive water content bug has been fixed). October 2015: The ISLEC-Web based on ISLEC version 4.1 and used the parameter database SLBM-G.db is online. The model or software applications have been updated. (2015年10月:ISLEC-Web上线,实现在线计算。同时更新了模型和软件。)

June 2015: The new offical website of ISLEC is online! This website is an improved version of our previous website constructed since 2012 with the same domain www.islec.net. The previous versions of the ISLEC software are all based on the Pitzer ion interaction model instead of the present Pitzer-Simonson-Clegg can be found on Sourceforge.  You can click to download old versions.(2015年6月:新的ISLEC官方网站上线。本网站是之前我们2012年发布的ISLEC网站的升级版本,但仍然沿用之前的域名www.islec.net不变。)
